It was geared towards Canadians moving back home, but I think a lot of the information for getting a cellphone, making plans for health insurance, etc. would be helpful for anyone. WebYou would be a Canadian tax resident and this would not be US-source income. Your primary tax obligations would be to Canada, and you'd use FEIE and/or FTC to reduce your US tax bill (presumably to zero). If you plan to remain a salaried employee of a US company, this is complicated. You may find it simpler to work as a contractor.
